Hollywood HEART (
) is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for young adults affected by HIV/AIDS and other at-risk youth to build confidence as well as interpersonal and career skills through our various arts programs and annual summer camp. Our goal is to open the door to a successful future for a growing number of these young people in the Los Angeles area and around the United States. Camp Hollywood HEART gives participants a unique opportunity to learn one of seven art skills taught by Hollywood professionals throughout a week in Malibu overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We also run year-round Educational Arts Workshops, a condensed version of our annual summer camp that provides mentorships in writing, visual, performing, and culinary arts across the United States, through after-school and weekend-long formats. In addition to our arts programming, Hollywood HEART provides scholarships to selected campers so that they may attend our partner organization One Heartland’s general recreation camps in the Midwest.
