A young woman taking part in a Puerto Rican HIV prevention education program called
"¡Arte con Salud!" that helps develop self efficacy among young women and older women
regarding intergenerational communication and safe sex practices. Using acrylic paint, collage,
drawing, and printing, among others, participants create full-body self portrait silhouettes
that help them view themselves in the light of each week’s educational module on 'taboo'
topics that include female sexuality, HIV/STI prevention, and sexual negotiation.
