YAHAnet's Wall of Hands featured in McGill University calendar!

By John, YAHAnet Coordinator

We are very happy that some of the Wall of Hands photos created during YAHAnet activities in Vienna and Washington, DC, have been featured on the cover and within the 2013-2014 calendar by the Social Equity and Diversity Education Office at McGill University!

The theme of the calendar is "Human Rights: Local and Global Perspectives".

I attended the calendar launch in September 2013 and was able to check out the 11 other initiatives and artworks featured in the calendar. Amazing stuff! I loved how the artwork for each month of the calendar was enlarged, printed out, and displayed on an easel!

The hand image you see on the top left below is by a 23-year-old young man from Kenya and is the December feature in the calendar along with the story of YAHAnet as an organization.

I hope to be able to post a PDF version of the calendar soon so that you can find out about the initiatives featured :)
