Presenting at the 2013 Social Media and Society Conference

On September 15, 2013, YAHAnet team member Lukas Labacher presented at the 2013 Social Media & Society Conference, an international event hosted at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada!

The presentation focused on girls' social media practices—particularly the making of cellphone films—and how these practices can relate to sexual health discussion and policy making. It included a gender analysis of activity on the YAHAnet platform and through YAHAnet's social media channels. YAHAnet coordinator John and YAHAnet founder Claudia provided research for the presentation.
