Stand True (video by Aboriginal youth in British Columbia, Canada)

video unavailable

In January 2007, a group of 12 Haisla Nation youth from Kitamaat Village in British Columbia, Canada spent 3 days learning about HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), healthy sexuality, condom use, how to create positive messaging, and how to use cameras and other film equipment. The youth were asked to identify issues they face and come up with their own solutions. They chose to address rumors and how they can "Stand True" in their sexual health decisions.

This video was made at the 1st "Star in Your Own Stories" workshop.
